Steptoe Butte, WA. Spring clouds drift over Steptoe Butte State Park, wheat fields and a pair of Cotton Woods.
I've been waiting a few years to post an image from this location. I photographed it in winter but the lighting wasn't right. So I waited again until the fields were green and the cotton clouds were present. While waiting for the clouds to drift into the scene I noticed a small hole of light shinning through the clouds on Steptoe. Again I waited patiently I've waited this long what more could hurt and I was rewarded.
I had a great time hanging out with Dene, Lynn and Vinny. I'll post picks later of the fun we had. An hour after this I met up with Kevin McNeal, Adrien Klein and the whole gang at Steptoe for their Palouse photo tour. Wait till you see the sunset from this evening. Everyone's photos will blow your mind away!
