Faroe Islands Cliffs - Eggjarnar - The Cliffs of Vágur, Suðuroy, Føroyar

I took this photo on 22 July 2010 from a place called Eggjarnar, just south of my home town Vágur. The cliff furthest south is Beinisvørð (Beinisvord), the second highest sea cliff of the Faroe Islands and the 9th highest sea cliff of Europe (according to Wikipedia): en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cliffs

A road was made to this place during Second World War when they made a Loran C station here, it was in function until mid 1970'ies. There are some ruins from the war up here. The road stops only 25 meters from the edge. The view is breathtaking.
