I think these buses look really smart in the Plymouth Citybus Livery and its good to to see them using double deckers again !
Even though i got very wet taking this shot lol on the other side going the other way is Yuk pink East Lancs Trident on First's Tamar link service.

@ B C - i am not sure mate if there peak time only but i agree it's nice to see deckers in use with them again and i think the livey looks nice on these.

Thanks for this Retro, an excellent picture. This is one of the better PCB liveries and looks fine on this body. I note that they have gone back to two door buses. It's been a while since the last lot of two door deckers were operational in the city. I'm still waiting to hear what happens if the council sell off Citybus . There has been much talk of Stagecoach making an offer. Will it happen? I hope not but meanwhile, it's wait and see time again.

Thank's ' alredbus ' Do u know how long it is now till we know if it will be sold theres lots of storys going about with a few groups Go - ahead group Stagecoach and even First who knows it may not even get sold yet when i was up in Plymouth on saturday i saw a stagecoach bus parked at there depot as u say its a ' wait and see now '

Having had association with Citybus over the years I know that it has always been a profitable business and it is no surprise that it has been sought after by various operators. I have to say that I am pleased it has gone to Go Ahead as the company policy is to improve running stock on a regular basis. They invest heavilly in new buses so a changing scene in Plymouth is likely. In the N.E. there is much coloured route branding to be seen so you never know what might be on show in Royal Parade shortly. I do have a concern for the Plymouth Enthusiasts buses which are shedded at Milehouse however and I hope some sort of agreement can be reached with the company for continued storage .
