Pin dropping

    T189 Photo-A-Week 2012, Weekly Alphabet Challenge, week 33, Q is for Quiet

So quiet you can hear a pin dropping. Time ran out to try a bit more light :-) I did use French Kiss Textures' "Rembrandt" to level the background a bit, black shiny worktop in the kitchen gave too many awkward reflections.

glad you gave us the title, as I wouldn't have worked it out otherwise. Did you put your camera on AF Servo and drop pins, or is there another secret? Blue pin in excellent focus

:-) The secret is a thread, which I cloned out

Thank you very much, was getting rather desperate last night, had several pictures which could refer to 'quiet' but nothing really meaningful ... was really last minute work, in the kitchen with the shiny black worktop because I was hoping for a reflection of the 'falling' pin, but that didn't work

Very effective. Does look like a painting.
