A beach away from any tourist area in some kind of my favorite weather...

Taken in infrared using the Heliopan RG 715 filter.

Hello American Jon ... The effect is really mainly by the filter, because without infrared filter you will never receive such a fine texture in the palm trees and also the sky would not be as heavy as it is here. Contrast levels are adjusted of course but mainly the filter did the job.
You may ask ... but colors look quite natural? I have many IR photos here and all are created with a color overlay (i.e. one photo IR, one photo without filter, then using the original color as an overlay over the beautiful infrred texture). I hope this was a bit comprehandable...
