river otters
the first of many otter groups i'd see during this trip... here at the atlanta zoo, later at the georgia aquarium, on abrams creek trail in the smokies (wild otters!), and then finally at knoxville zoo. during our first pass these otters were practically out of sight, but when we doubled back they were just laying on the shore in an otter pile. it was adorable.
