On every 1st and 15th on the month I intend to take a photo of myself unedited. This means taking pictures at f/5 or lower thereby showing all the imperfections. To be honest, I think this has alot to do with this 365 photo project and viewing images at 200%. I spend so much time with the healing brush in Photoshop erasing acne/blemishes, dark spots, and blackheads.

I started to have this problem with acne in my early teens and it was pretty awful but then it lessened during college, with it pretty much going away at the end of college. So I'm guessing around 23 yrs old. A couple of years later it started coming back, mostly on my forehead and chin. But then I started to get where I didn't before: some on my upper back and chest/neck.

I have brought stuff in the past and then I use it once in a while, which is rather dumb to not stay consistent. I was looking for a product at the drugstore website and googling to remove acne scars (dark pigmentation). I came across acne.org and I might have come across it before but ignored it because I thought it was an infomercial. The founder of this website, Dan goes by a regimen. The concept is easy: clean your face (cleanser), rinse, wash hands, wait a couple minutes, wash and dry hands apply benzoyl peroxide (suggested 2.5), wait about 10 min, wash & dry hands and put on a moisturizer. The only thing that bothers me is that you're supposed to start with a low amount of bp and then increase the amount and that I'm not sure I agree with. Right now I also skip the step of putting bp in the morning to prevent overdrying and bp in the morning requires also wearing spf. Also, in hindsight I should have taken this image when I started which was on day 111.

What I'm currently using is Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash, Clearasil Stayclear Vanishing Acne (it's 10% but its what I had from previously) and Cetaphil Moisturizing lotion. My biggest mistake was introducing two new products. I wanted a fade cream and a lotion with SPF. So I got Alpha Hydroxy and Eucerin Everyday SPF 30 lotion last Wednesday. One these products caused this burning sensation - it felt like I put a lighter on my face, like my face was on fire. You're not supposed to use an alpha hydrox product until a month and not all over like I did. Ever since that day my neck and chest feel like leather and my face appears to be shinier. The SPF was fine the first 2 or 3 times I put it on and then afterward it didn't help my flaky skin and my face was a white dry mess. So for now these two products are on hold. Other things I'm trying to do apart from what's on the site is actually take the vitamins I brought a while ago, sleep not so late, eat veggies/fruits and drink more water. I'm sure I should throw excerise into the mix, but I know I won't follow through.

I am not seeking perfection, I just would like to have clearer skin. I'm not a makeup person, so whatever doesn't make me look like a pimply greased faced teen is my goal. My main concern are clearing or lessening the appearance of dark spots that stay on the skin for months even years.

My goodness, now I realize I look like a dead person with my eyes closed. The intent was to not focus on anything else but my skin.

Go Yanks! Alternative here

The stadium was not empty & there were plenty of people that saw me. Official game at the stadium is next week

I have no idea as to why I had my arms above me.
