(DPS Weekly Challenge: Your challenge this week is to take and share an image taken from a low down point of view.)
This is Katie, a very sweet West Highland Terrier, who at 12 years old is one of our "senior" members in our pet therapy group that visits patients at Sutter Roseville Medical Center. (Note: she also appears in a shot with my dog Hope in yesterday's POTD) While most terriers are energetic and a bit spastic, Katie is quite the opposite. She is very calm and mellow and enjoys sitting in people's laps. I took my camera to last night's visit as I am putting together some photos for a slideshow for next week for our group. I thought it would be fun to get a low angle shot of Katie. My friend Rachel was totally laughing at me as I was practically laying on the floor with my camera to get this shot, but she wasn't laughing when she saw the shot. I thought it was a neat perspective since Katie is so small and probably only a foot off the ground.
