This is not the kind of "growth" that I like...
I'm allergic to roses (actually, most kinds of flowers) and have been trying to kill this rose bush in my backyard ever since I bought my house. Tried cutting it back, digging it up, even sprayed Round Up on it and it won't die. It seems to flower more and more every year just to spite me. I noticed some bugs on it when I was taking this picture today, maybe they can kill it for me; somehow, I don't think I will get so lucky. I guess the only good thing about it is it's something to take a picture of...

Great picture! Funny story. I too have a rose bush that I tried to kill. It came back bigger and with more thorns! I hate thorns!
