I got to have a great adventure with Ember this weekend! There wasn't enough to do at work so they told me to take off, which was incredibly bizarre to have off time, but hey won't complain! Yesterday took Ember to my campus and trekked about 4.5 miles, and today we went to a local place called rails to trails, it's a beautiful path settled in the mountains beside a river. We went about 7.5 miles overall today. It was pretty empty so I let Ember walk in front so long as she didn't pull. I don't know who is more wore out - her or me!

Em, my friend, and I hiked Mt Nittany again! She broke my tail bone in the end, oh that was so painful.. but yeah here's Em looking cute and proud.. yes those are tube socks on her backpack to prevent rubbing on her skin.

I made it! 12 photos, it's been cut close more than once.. but here we go ;) Thanks all for your wonderful comments I hope to get around to everyone in the near future. The holidays I've had a few days off but doesn't seem like enough time ! I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and will have a Happy New Year!! My best to all of you and your families and packs.

Hey everyone, still insanely busy...thankfully this semester is winding down and break is next week!! One exam between me and turkey! I'll be working full time over break, but still...at least no homework/studying/etc along with it.

Anyway...took Ember & Bo out for a two hour romp to give myself a break and them an outlet too. I had some okay action shots, but this is my favorite...a nice profile of my girl.

Took Ember hiking up Mt. Nittany, about 2.2 miles round trip.. ran out of sunshine to do the full loop, here we are at our first look out...I actually got her tired after this :) we then went to petco got a new doggie backpack and stuff-less raccoon.
