Cardboard Model Truck And A Dinky Toys Chevrolet Impala Diorama

This Is a little model truck that I made a number of years ago, plus this Is a Dinky Toys model (Made In Hong Kong) No. 57/003 of a Chevrolet Impala. Gerry Anderson used a lot of sixties style cars In his model sets, especially Matchbox die-cast models, so I added In my Dinky model of my Chevrolet Impala to give It that style of a Gerry Anderson program. I am a big fan of Gerry Anderson's fantastic work, he has some of the best model makers to have worked for film and TV, the detail they put Into their sets and models Is astounding. This little model of mine Is made from recycled cardboard, and bits and pieces for detail, the wheels are made from metal lids from the tops of Heinz Tomato Ketchup bottles, and In the centre of them are the wheels from old broken audio tapes. I made the diorama from recycled materials as well, the base I used an old scrap piece of chipboard, the trees are cuttings from a plant In my garden, and the part they are sitting on Is made from metal plaster mesh with paper mache over It, then once dried I spread red plaster over It, when It was dry I painted It all with emulsion paint. I also painted the little model truck with emulsion paint. I added a real soundtrack from a truck In motion. Of course I did this just for fun, this Is just a sample, I used my Canon Powershot A460 digital camera video to capture this, I'll be adding more later. Enjoy. :)

LEGO KarmaPlay Video

LEGO Karma

I've just come across some of my old LEGO. This Is one of my 4.5 volt LEGO motors, set No 107, fitted with the tracks supplied with this set, this set Is from the early seventies, the little figure Is from the 1990s. I put It all together and added batteries to It, then let It go. These little motors are strong and very reliable, I've never known them to break down. Once I get a new camera as my old one Is broken, I'll take snap shots of the rest of my old LEGO to show you. I've owned this LEGO since the late seventies when I was a young child. I used my Canon Powershot A460 digital camera video to capture this. I hope you enjoy the video. :)

Plastic And Die-Cast Friction JCB Excavator Toy: DioramaPlay Video

Plastic And Die-Cast Friction JCB Excavator Toy: Diorama

This little toy tractor has great detail, so I made this diorama pacifiacly for models like this. For the diorama I used a piece of chipboard for the base, the trees are clippings from a hedge In my garden, the section the trees are sitting on, I used plaster mesh I then covered It with paper mache, then once that was dry I covered It with red plaster. When that was dry, I then painted It all with emulsion paint by Dulux. The little bits of grass along the verge Is real dry grass from my garden. The blue sky Is a backdrop I made for these dioramas. This little excavator model has a friction motor so I let It freely run a long and videoed It at the same time. I videoed each bit using my Canon Powershot A460 digital camera, I then edited all the bits together, then I added real vehicle sounds to It to give It that touch of realism. Enjoy. :)

Dinky Toys A.E.C. 'Esso' Fuel Tanker No. 945 DioramaPlay Video

Dinky Toys A.E.C. 'Esso' Fuel Tanker No. 945 Diorama

I set up three of my Dinky Toys 'Esso' fuel tankers onto my diorama that I made, I used a piece of chipboard for the base, the trees are clippings from a hedge In my garden, the section the trees are sitting on, I used plaster mesh I then covered It with paper mache, then once that was dry I covered It with red plaster. When that was dry, I then painted It all with emulsion paint by Dulux. The little bits of grass along the verge Is real dry grass from my garden. I videoed It In my room at dusk, giving It the appearance of videoing outside. The origanal sound that was with It I edited It out, the new sound effect I've added was recorded by me when I was walking my dog at night, so I added It to this video, I think It goes well with It. Enjoy. :)

"Hot Wheels In Motion" Diorama: Plastic Model Vehicles Made By McDonald's Promotional Mattell/Hot Wheels Toys: 'Hot Wheels' Trailer Trucks And Cars

This Is a diorama that I made, These great little plastic Hot Wheels model vehicles are made by McDonald's, really strong toys, and very colourful, real quality. How I moved the little models, I tied small pieces of thread to them and pulled them along while filming It all with my Canon camera.
