    Alcatraz Island and Treasure Island can be seen near the center of this image of the San Francisco Bay, photographed with an 800mm lens some 215 to 220 miles above Earth. The image was taken by an Expedition 22 crew member aboard the International Space Station (ISS). San Francisco bay area structures including office buildings can be at the city's edge (left).
