EXCELLENT neo-punk band, "One for the Team," who were first up for the Bastille-Day entertainment at the bandstand. (Sorry no pic from the front - too many folks dancing & enjoying them! I had to wait & get to the side when they were taking a break, to get a pic.)

They were SO good that yours truly bought their CD!! It's called "Good Boys Don't Make Noise." HIGHLY recommend it! Below are links to check out the band:

Outstanding volunteer Patrick, showing us all a smiling Obama on the cover of "Rolling Stone." Patrick is hard at work with our local "Obama Works" project: providing volunteers at local events to help with set-up, clean-up, etc. Guess what "Obama Works" has put in a permit-application for? I kid you not - this is fact - for CLEANING UP AFTER THE REPUBLICAN CONVENTION, in St. Paul!!! "Cleaning up after the neo-cons' mess!" HAHAHHAHA :D

It won't be easy to get that permit, but all is being done officially and appropriately to get the chance to make the point: YES WE CAN clean up our country!! :)

OUR Barack - belonging to ALL of us - the world over! Behind the sign, the first folks begin to show up at the booth - taking stickers, giving contributions - and taking volunteer-event cards and information home to share!! ;)

What we need to DO!

Eye-catching signs moving along the perimeter of our booth - at major intersection of walkway to bandstand, vendor/performance area in parking-lot behind the booth, and near to food-court area.
