During the Spring of 2011 I spent some time with the charity 'The Fox Project' who dedicate their time rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing red foxes in the South East of England. The volunteers I met and spoke to all fight the negative image portrayed by the UK media about the 'savage' fox taking over our urban centers with no factual backing and who are just using scare tactics to frighten the public.

The fox is a beautiful creature and I have the utmost respect for the people at 'The Fox Project'

‘30 Moments before May’ explores a mixing of both the traditional snapshot with images of unusually documented subjects and experiences over 30 days, creating a body of work both very personal and revealing. The further process of hand printing each individual image, thus reliving the ‘moment’ has ensured a collection of images chosen carefully with much thought to the photographers feelings of those times experienced.
