Nice. Saw it on Digg. I remember being told somewhere that mountain goats can climb at 5.9 level ... for those who don't climb, that's probably just about or a little better than what you can do if you're in good shape. Very freaky to watch.

How in the world do animals with hooves climb near-vertical inclines? Wow.

      Also StumbledUpon

And for the skeptics, mountain goats are able to balance their entire weight on a space about the size of a quarter - I'm convinced this is real

Great shot, but I'd love to see more explanation of this one. Congrats on almost 150,000 views!

For those saying the goat is dead, look at this other photo from his stream: flickr.com/photos/28516387@N04/3061177081/siz es/l/

The goat moved his head, so he's probably not dead.

    20. sk8guy82 (42 months ago | reply)

so did you stick around to see if he made it?

    21. Savvas Dalkitsis (42 months ago | reply)

The goat is a unique kind found only in the island of Crete, Greece. Trust me i am from Greece I know. These goats are CRAZY. :P
