      The first year I had my own christmas tree I was so proud I finally was allowed to touch the lights. :D That has always been my Dad's job while we kids were banned from the living room.

      - Thanks for sharing your story. I apprenticed with my Dad on the Christmas tree lights, meaning I followed him around the tree with the rest of the line and learned how to troubleshoot which was the bad bulb on a line.
