Yotsuba & Obama

    Yatsuba is terribly excited to meet Barack Obama. She gives him a fist-bump because she thinks it's cool. Mr. Obama is happy to meet Yotsuba, because she represents the future and relations with Japan. And both their names end in "A".

      Love this photo. Nicely posed, well observed and funny. Do wonder if it would benefit from being cropped closer to the figures (but I crop too close, so ....). Did take the liberty of experimenting in photoshop and you can raise the highlights levels a bit. (In photoshop, its cntrl+L to bring up the histogram. You then slide the right hand slider towards the left, until it is at the base of the bell-curve). Great stuff!

      Thanks, Jon P. -- I don't have Photoshop, but used Flickr's Picnik tool to raise the contrast a bit and crop. I'll have to spend a bit more time learning about such tools.
