We were told that this is the southern tip of the Bali island. Moving south for some 1400km, one will reach Australia!

Making a panoramic photo that has wave and water in it is always hard. It's very hard to stitch the photos together as the wave is ever changing.

Location on map is just an approximate.

This is the time where I regretted so much for not bringing my tripod from the other part of the world. Taken handheld at ISO 4000 at 50mm with between f/1.4 to f/1.8.

23 June 2008, 10:20 in the morning. It was like 3 years ago when I took this photo. I was at Redang Kalong Resort having my vacation with a bunch of friends I met from an online platform called ShoutOut.

It was indeed a very pleasant experience while taking a break out of the hustle bustle of the city and the daily-wake-up-go-work-come-back-eat-sleep-almost-like-robot routine of life.

I'm working like mad every single day in the search of... I do not know. Better quality of life at the expense of poor quality of life at the moment? Hahah!

This shot is taken using Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L with B+W Slim CPL filter.

Already cranking up to ISO 5000 to counter the swaying boat, it's best to be viewed in black and white though when I post-processed it. I like on how it gives nostalgic feel of the ever growing city.
