Moonscape
This photograph is from West Texas. I was attracted to the unusual land formation and the way the moon provided a counterpoint. Although the moon is out, I created this image mid-afternoon. Longs Peak Sunrise
First Light
Another one of those o'dark early shots. Fortunately, for this one, I was camped relatively nearby at a BLM campground, saving me precious early morning minutes. I spend most of these early mornings alone. Just me, my tripod and my diet coke. But some mornings, like this particular one, I get to stand shoulder to shoulder with other folks, from all walks of life, from across the country and beyond, that have come to witness the beauty of sunrise. My brothers and sisters in the visual life.
