Ewan was pretty fascinated by the Betty Boop cartoons they had running.

I can't remember the name of the hotel, but it was taken in the walkway by the front doors here:

Every once in a while I have to go through the old RentfrockRepeat catalogs and I inevitably find an overlooked shot. With nearly 18 thousand photos in that catalog, it's gonna happen!

Lighting: Alienbees b1600 up right into a gridded octabox and a silver reflector to the left to fill things in a bit. There's a 30 degree gridded b800 for the background.

I'm sure my wife will want to kill me for "spoiling" our Christmas card, but neither she nor anyone else I know really checks this site. Heh.

I did some fairly serious fooling around with this shot in post (obviously). I'm not totally sold on it, but it's most of the way there. Good enough for a cute card, not good enough for a client.

Lighting: Well, the lamp behind him was lit with it's own bulb for the most part. And Ewan was lit to the right at about head height with a Nikon sb800 reflected into a smallish umbrella. Triggered with CLS or whatever, but I had the flash power set manually.
