It hit full spectrum - the aches, the lacrimintation, the hot and cold sweats. The long nights.
I'd look in the mirror and see some kind of creature looking back, eyes dilated to mydriasis.
I suppose I had to be mentally reduced to some form of animal to put up with it for as long as I did.
In a way, your time relied solely on the very thing you blamed for its termination.

Those threats you doled out generously - how I'd "see the truth" once I wasn't numb... I have to say, you were right. I have never been so enraged by what I found upon waking.
