Octopus - Cala Galdana, Menorca - España

Went snorkeling in Cala Galdana (Menorca, Balearic Islands) and found this fellow (Octopus vulgaris) over the sandy bottom (depth around 7m) and surrounded by Neptune grass (Posidonia oceanica). This is the second picture I took him - notice his defensive posture.

He lives in front of the chirungito toni. swim six buoys out then look halfway between the buoy and the cliff. You'll find a pile of stones that he lives under. I had one in my hands last year.
