This is so beautiful Jeff, I love the way it flows :) It reminds me of a pendant I made once called The Tree Of Life. I can also imagine this being a wonderful stained glass design.

it is a lovely interlaced tree. I find that a powerful symbol. Thanks for putting this group together.

I love your stuff! I really think that you could sell you celtic knot art/and this tree art on t-shirts at celtic/Irish fests around the country. Maybe even renissanse faires? this is a wonderful tree! Great lines and art. thank you for sharing your creativity with us flickr people!

Good design Is their a symbolism behind the 9 limbs and leaves ?

    15. Jeff Woodyard (28 months ago | reply)

9 being the largest numeral is also the last or final numeral so it is a symbolic way of saying that everything is whole and complete.

Thanks Ruthie. This was a design I did for myself and my wife when we married 12 years ago this may 1st. We are in the midst of a divorce. Lots of symbols have a mixed up meaning for me at the moment.

Jeff i sure can understand that, have been there! The tree of life, the circle of life, it never stands still, there is always something new just around the corner. I would never have imagined my own life could change so much to the point i find myself at now. Keep ur chin up & carry on the great work when u can. ruthie.
