This is one of those images that I wished I carred a tripod around with me. I would love to have gotten the whole flower in pin sharp detail as it was so lovely. The only way to have done that was to use a tripod which at the moment I do not have one that is portable enough. So you take what you get.
If anyone has any idea what this is please let me know.

I was going to suggest zinnia also...I adore the color tones...looks pretty damn good to me!!!!! It would be great to have a portable tripod that is sturdy but not too heavy wouldn't it!

Not sure what it is, but it is very beautiful !!! I know the feeling about the tripod. Every day is windy and there are many different wildflowers in bloom !!!
