It's good to be back to doing street photography again after all these while.

St. Mary's Place, Market Harborough

St. Mary's Place, Market Harborough

I'm learning as I go along. Another street shot at Market Harborough. I really wished I spent more time there now.

My street photography needs a lot of work. A lot.

I'm on TV!

I'm on TV!

No, I'm not.

I was in the mood to study some more photography work tonight and couldn't help but marvel at so many works. One particular style that caught my attention was the cinematic-styled post-processing. It was pain-staking as I tried to follow some advice. At the end of the day, it's so much better to play around and experiment with the program that you use yourself. I'm a big fan of Lightroom and prefer it much much more than Photoshop and use it very often. At the end of it, I felt like how I was when I first learnt complex math - confused, frazzled yet satisfied at the end.

I picked this photo at random. It was an old one, and I think the mood suited what I was trying to do.

Note: It's very important to make sure that your SOOC was shot well because no amount of photoshopping can fix what's already broken. Duh.

The aftermath of New Year's

The aftermath of New Year's

Drunk. Tired. Painful feet. Weeary. Vulnerable. Hopeful.

Here's a little sneak preview of what I have planned for 2011. I'm starting a personal project which I hope I will adhere to and produce a substantial portfolio.
