Taken at Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria, Germany on my trip this past April.

This image is actually 3 images photo-blended by hand to bring out the details in the highlights, mid-tones, and shadows. I decided the brickwork really popped more when a high contrast was applied using levels and curves.

30 second exposure

I ran around the car popping a single Vivitar 285HV flash at 1/4 power (If I remember correctly). During the exposure, the dome light was left on. I finished up by hopping in the car quickly and popping a flash in my face that was preset for the correct exposure & covered with a white T-shirt to diffuse it.

A lot of attempts were required to get all the factors to line up. Could it be better? Yes....but on the other hand I'm pretty happy with the results for being out of photography for like 10 months :)

My christmas card for the year. Yep, Fez finally made it back on Flickr, as did I...joined by none other than Rabbi Schmuley. Lol, the name is kinda an inside joke, but yea, that's what his(the cat) name is.
