    I believe that this is an antique processional image owned by one of the old families in the Barasoain parish. It even has an antique silver carroza, which unfortunately has deteriorated somewhat over the years.

    I've seen some varieties at Botanical Garden, Montreal. These flowers are very beautiful(parang yung Hudas Escariote kina Mr. Vecin, ha ha ha... hanggang ngayon wala pa ako macomment doon)

    When in bloom Poppies are very beautiful. They look like tulips(every May its Tulip Festival here in Albany, New York) Some varieties are really ornamental (lang daw).

    Pero mukhang Afganistan nga ito. ha ha ha

    sayang yung damit na ito hindi na muling nasilayan at naisauot ng dolorosa g barasoain dahil sa hindi malamang dahilan nawala na ang mga damit nito at iba pang gamit dahil sa hindi maayos na pngangalaga sa imahe ng dating pari salamat at napasakamay na ito ng isang maingat na nangangalaga na taga barasoain ngaun puspusan ang pangangalaga dito at kahit walang tulong pinansyal mula sa may ari ay nailalabas pa rin ito ng maayos sa barasoain...
