Fotografia para los Santos had been promoting excellence and good standards on taking photographs for the icons of venerated images as subjects. The metamorphosis of the group became notable through the members' contribution at the group pool and participation in various discussion threads.
Came June 4, 2009, the group reached 5,000 entries at the group pool. In appreciation of this remarkable milestone, Fotografia will feature contributions which had been an illustration of exceptional photograph and shall be known as PHOTO OF THE WEEK. This is a humble way of expressing the utmost appreciation for the photos being shared for the group and the rest of the Flickr community.
