Guys, you should have met the late atty Joe Tiomgko....he was a charchter!!!!!

Grean painist and artist and very opinionated.....read the book and you'd know what I mean....but he was a man way ahead of his time...to catalogue those antiques.......to tell you the truth, less than 10% of the pieces are in Iloilo.

He was a wacky lawyer and often got in contempt in court and a few suspensions but he had great taste in antiques that he owned or traded.

p.s. he nearly became my uncle for he was the bf of my late aunt.....hahaha!

I heard he's eccentric. This book of his was profusely dedicated to Imelda Marcos. And he even lambasted the leaders of the parochial council of the Dingle church for shooing him out and not allowing him to see their ivory Nino!

and i suppose that ivory nino is no longer in dingle church.

but it us not only him that was shoood away.....i was with the wife of an Catholic american consul who wanted to buy a St. Anne for it was her namesake and we were uncerimonially kicked out of his house.

      Hahahaha!
