Busy, busy, busy today. We've been painting, measuring, and meeting with contractors all day! We're moving back into our home in a few weeks and trying to get some remodeling done while there's no furniture in the house.

The kiddos are bored out of their mind because of course mom only bought coloring books, crayons and a hand full of small toys to try to keep them entertained.

My daughter, Laila was drawing a picture of a rainbow and talking about how much she loves them and she wished she could grow a one. I thought hmmm that would be kind of cool, so we went outside and planted one! Have a great weekend all!

It feels sooo good outside today. I had to sneak to the front yard while the little ones were sleeping to get some fresh air and today's image. There's a nice breeze and everything! Can't wait til they wake up so they can enjoy this weather and ride their little bikes. It'll be back in the 40 and 50's over the weekend. Gotta love VA :)

Ran across these from a fire arm instructor and thought they were pretty commical, but very true indeed. Wanted to share...

1."The most important rule in a gunfight is: Always win and cheat if necessary."
2."Don't forget, incoming fire has the right of way..."
3."Make your attacker advance through a wall of bullets.
4.You may get killed with your own gun, but he'll have to beat you to death with it, cause it's going to be empty."
5."If you're not shootin', you should be loadin'. If you're not loadin', you should be movin', if you're not movin', someone's gonna cut your head off and put it on a stick."
6."When you reload in low light encounters, don't put your flashlight in your back pocket.. If you light yourself up, you'll look like an angel or the tooth fairy... and you're gonna be one of 'em pretty soon."
7."Do something. It may be wrong, but do something."
8."Shoot what's available, as long as it's available, until something else becomes available."
9."If you carry a gun, people will call you paranoid. That's ridiculous. If you have a gun, what in the hell do you have to be paranoid for."
