Had to crawl into this little nook at the Chicago Cultural Center to get this shot of the light and shadow cast from a grate.
This isn't a finished work... I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with this light. It's really just a study.
Some of these older buildings are completely magnificent for the diversity of light they afford you as a photographer.
They designed buildings to embrace the natural light before they invented the lightbulb. Then everything changed.

This is wonderful (and even more so that you were in an odd and somewhat contorted position to get this - I like others to share my embarrassment at doing things like this). Good eye to spot it and nicely captured.
