May2011A - Colored Pencil Challenge

Thanks for stopping by. Here are the stamps & supplies that I used:

 

* Large Plaid Pattern S5447

* Everyday Sayings CL342

* Striped Flower CG255

* PrismaColor Colored Pencils

* Gemstones

* Distres Ink - Spiced Marmalade

* Martha Stewart Glitter Pigment Marker

 

I colored the flowers using 3 PrismaColor Pencils. I added Gamasol after I colored it to smooth out the lines. I used Martha Stewart's Glitter Marker Pigment Ink around the edges of the flower petals. For the sentiment, the clear stamps where on the sheet - the THINKING OF YOU and then right below it was the SENDING YOU SUNSHINE AND LAUGHTER....I decided that I would use BOTH stamps just they way they were positioned on the sheet and stamp them on my card. LOVE the way it looks.

PS - for the BG - I distress the white cardstock first with Spiced Marmalade and then stamped the Plaid Pattern using the Spiced Marmalade ink.
