Australasian Bittern - Botaurus poiciloptilus @ Yea

Almost dark when the Australasian Bittern flew in, it had visited about 20 minutes earlier but was unsure what bird it was. Took this photo, not good but it is a record of the Australasian Bittern's visit to our garden

Weeping Cherry in blossom @ Yea

Weeping Cherry in full bloom, only last a few weeks before the rain and wind damages the blossom. Daffodils in bloom around base of Weeping Cherry.
