Last Surviving Piece of Dime Toss Sign from Jones Walk

When the concessionaires lost their leases on the east side of Jones Walk, they left behind their signs. The majority were stolen and sold for scrap metal. The few remaining were trashed. The concessionaire who owned the booth with the Dime Toss donated this last memento of the sign to the Coney Island History Project, where it is on display

The sign was created in 2004 by Brooklyn artist Toland Grinnell as part of the Dreamland Artist Club project sponsored by Creative Time
