Love locks
A bridge in a park in Riga, Latvia, covered in padlocks. Each one had the name of a couple engraved or written on it. I think they are called laimes slēdzenes, 'luck locks'.

Interesting. What does it symbolize? The bonds of love?

Hi there,
I'm a journalist working in Italy for My Way Media's monthly magazine Speak Up. We are running a piece on Love Padlocks. We would like to use your photo here to illustrate the piece. Any chance of you giving us permission to use your photo? If you have other pictures, we'd be interested in seeing them, too!
As this is for a hard-copy, glossy magazine, we need high definition photographs to illustrate the article. Can you help us out?
We can't pay for photographs, unfortunately, but we would definitely send you a free copy of the relevant issue, and it might help to improve your CV.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to answer,
John Rigg (jmrigg at gmail .com)
