Source images used were the landscape image and the brown texture image for the moon.

I love the photo treatment and the color. The type in perspective is very cool. The light writing treatments are interesting. I would like to see them interact with the type and weave in and out of the letters possibly cutting them away or adjusting them.
The two type blocks seem to be a little in disconnect both in treatment and in color. I would stick with all upper case or all lower case. Not many people have used all lowercase in a layout so far, so that would be interesting.
You're addition of the rocket is cool for the concept. You actually have one of the most conceptual pieces in my opinion showing the travel of mankind to outer space as a metaphor for the elevation of type over time. I do not think you need to use the rocket in the type (it is a little cheesy) I would illustrate it more in the style of the landing ship, or just drop it altogether.
Overall its a great piece, just needs a few finishing touches.
