Amboise castle.

Here's my Rocky Beach photo showing the before and after images. From left to right, they are: Original image (1 of 7 bracketed photos), after Photomatix, and after cleanup in Photoshop with some additional Topaz filters.

You can see a lot of issues with the rocks and waves after Photomatix, which is pretty much normal for beach landscapes. Takes a lot of time to clean up in Photoshop.

I like the Topaz filters, but I often find that one fiter might work for the foreground, but not for the sky. So I usually apply different filters on each.

Spent some time taking pictures on the beaches around the Malibu area.
Processing: 7 bracketed imges (-2 to +2), photomatix, and then cleanup in Photoshop with some Topaz filters applied.
