This photo was clearly taken from a slightly different location (Bathurst & Lakeshore, in this case, and from a higher vantage point on a balcony).

I believe this photo was taken in 1976.
Questions:
1. What are the other buildings in this shot?
2. What's the bridge-type thing crossing the base of the tower?
3. Is that the Royal York Hotel on the left edge of frame?
4. Where was this photo taken from? (Bathurst Street Bridge, maybe?)
you can zoom in quite a lot if you hit "all sizes".
