This year I made these for Easter ( I know I am late in uploading this) instead of the onion skin boiled eggs, like my grandmother used to make.
Since I have no new photos to post I thought I would pull this from my recent archives.

I first read about these eggs on womanchild's blog - An Enchanted Life and then I found another recipe and article in our local culinary magazine - City Palate.

waiting to feel the grass between my toes

~~ Mother Nature threw us a curve ball with Old Man Winter's return this past weekend. He brought -20'C windchills and 30+cms of snow. Just days before we were out in T-shirts with +22'C temps. It's like taking candy from a baby. ~~
