Funnel Cloud
Ever have an experience where you take a picture, then suddenly realize what you've just taken a picture of? That was me. I had a short internal argument about whether I should pass out or run. Running won. Fortunately for me, it never fully touched the earth. Needless to say, I didn't take any more pictures on that drive.

Amazing capture. Rare that you run into a photo opportunity such as that and so close as well. But yes, definitely run. I may have stayed a little bit longer to get a few more shots and then I would have left skid marks on the ground I'd be gone so quick. Yikes. But wonderful capture
CONGRATULATIONS! Excellent!

Holy crap, I just got chills. This was one bad storm we had! A tornado touched down a few miles away from where I was yesterday & tore some houses to pieces. It was very frightful!
I'm glad you're ok ~ it was intense. Great shot, even though you nearly risked life & limb for us to see!

Your series of pics leading up to this all show this developing funnel. Next time don't think, just go the other way!!! You're pretty lucky it didn't develop - you never know with these things.
