“Poacher stones” by sunrise. There is a marvelous view of the Middle Jizera ridge, moss of Jizera and Jizerka as well as Western Krkonose Mountains. The site is named after Hennrich the poacher, who was hiding under them, and who was shot near by a gamekeeper in 1813.

Pytlácké kameny při východu slunce. Z vrcholu je výborný rozhled po Středním jizerském hřebeni, rašeliništi Jizery i Jizerky a západních Krkonoších. Místo je nazváno po pytlákovi Hennrichovi, který měl pod nimi úkryt a který byl nedaleko od nich zastřelen lesníkem roku 1813.

Under the most famous bridge over the Grand Canal is incredibly heavy traffic. In this photo, I waited about an hour, but eventually I managed to get the frame bridge and the gondola in the foreground.

Pod tímto nejznámějším mostem přes Canal Grande je ve dne neuvěřitelně silný provoz. Na tuto fotografii jsem čekal asi hodinu, ale nakonec se mi do záběru podařilo dostat most i gondolu v popředí.
