These shots are from the Sheffield Mills Eagle Watch in Nova Scotia. Farmers put out dead chickens to attract the eagles. On this day there were about 30-35 in this field alone. A wonderful sight to see and photograph. It was -12 c that day though and they didn't come down for 2 1/2 hours, but it was worth it.

Shot at the Robert McCall Memorial Figure Skating competion in Dartmouth, NS

I would like to come up with a story of how difficut this shot was to get, but alas it was not to exciting. I Just looked out of my patio doors at sunset (9th Floor) and saw this scene. I took a few handheld shots before it quickly went away. Sometimes you get luck!

I actually took this photograph last year on Citadel Hill in Halifax, NS. Since there is not one inch of snow on the ground, I have missed out on getting shots like this so far this year. It was great fun to shoot and amazing to watch.

This is the battle that happens dozens of times a game, as an opposing player tries to screen the goalie and maybe tip in a goal. This was the Mooseheads game where they finally beat Saint John. Quebec Major Junior Hockey at the Halifax Metro Center.
