Moon Covers Venus

The limb of the crescent Moon approaches the planet Venus (also a crescent) on the morning of 22 April, 2009. In less than a minute, the moon will completely pass in front of - or occult - the planet Venus.

This is a rare event for specific parts of the world. This might not happen again for decades.
