Stalking the moon
The Canon SX1 IS has a ten megapixel sensor and a 20x zoom.
I utilized that zoom to the fullest extent, set the focus on infinity, and dialed various other settings around until I got the perfect luminosity.
Then, I cropped the image in Shotwell, which I installed in preparation for Ubuntu 10.10.
In other news, Flickr somehow figured out the tags that go with this image. I did not enter them manually. How did they do that?
Update: Never mind. Those were just the tags that I entered into Shotwell.

Weird Flowers
This was an experiment with using the RAW format in my new Canon SX1 IS.
I used GIMP and UFRaw to heavily post-process the image.

Escape key
I had an excessive amount of camera noise with this picture.
It seems to be a problem with the Powershot G5.
