A few weeks ago I had the chance to go out and shoot with one of my close friends Javier A. We decided to make our way to Death Valley and the Eastern Sierras. Jave said he wanted some dune action, so dune action it was. We had some serious workouts on those dunes, lots of hiking and lots of tracked up dunes, but I know of a nice section of the dunes that is track free, besides our own. ;-)

Once we were done shooting, part two of the workout comes............the mental workout......post processing! Oh yeah! That part is always fun. Good times for sure, can't wait to do it again buddy. We don't have that much longer either......Pacific North West here we come. I'm ready for some waterfalls and wildflowers. But it was nice getting out shooting with a good friend and enjoying the desert heat. Hope everyone has a great week. Peace.

I've been wanting to hit this location for a while now. The last time I was here I got skunked! I figured I'd try for round two since I was in the area. I wasn't too sure if I was going to shoot because the sky was looking very gloomy, but I noticed some serious beamage breaking through the clouds, and just went ahead and decide to take a chance and see what happens. As I was making my way down to the beach I hear someone call my name. I look around and couldn't figure out who was calling my name. I hear someone call my name again, I turn around, and its Max V. Max is a San Diego local photographer that has some killer work. Go check his work out. We began to chat and had a great conversation on photography. During or conversation there were partial breaks in the clouds with some nice texture in the sky. The beams of light were shooting out in every direction on the horizon. The waves were huge too. The light was looking great towards the north east, of course not the direction I was shooting in, but actually helped intensify the reflections in the puddles. All in all it was fun getting out shooting the coast again, and having a great conversation with a friend. Hope everyone has a great week. Peace and Love.

My thumb is finally getting better from the spills that I took when I was photographing the frozen lake in the Sierras. Instead of slipping and sliding on ice, I was slipping on sharp jagged rocks. Ouch! My leg is a little chewed up right now, but no pain......no gain right?!

The conditions were just right for this sunrise shoot. There was a nice glow in the sky and the tide was just right. The tide was high, but just enough for the perfect wave movement. Hope everyone has a great week and happy shooting.
