The image of a young man's face appears prominently over the man, draped in a cloak. The signature at the base of the image belongs to the sitter.
The man had links with the person who compiled the spirit album, and he gave the photograph to her as a keepsake. He apparently recognised the young man's face.

Existia um fotógrafo muito conhecido por fazer estas "brincadeiras", não me lembro o nome dele agora... Ele apenas revelava duas vezes a mesma foto, eram bem assustadoras na época, ele ficou bastante conhecido, mas hoje em dia, a farsa é óbvia.

It might be a hoax, it might be real... no one can know for sure.
I seldom think of ghost, but sometimes I think of how my dogs acted a bit strangely like they saw ghosts, or something us human would never know what. But I still can't accept any ghost-stories maybe until I have a good reason for the existence of ghost here in our reality.
Does another sort of reality (like ghost's one) have a reason to exist and exist parallel with ours? Is there a possibility that it's not them but us being-ghost to a third party? hehe, it's very interesting at that angle to see things. Anything can be possible, ain't it?

with their first World War and so many dying, of course the living need reassurance of the spirit world. They still needed the person who died to stay with them. If I lost my children during that time period, I cannot say I would not feel that same void and need hope they were near me as the journey though life became only one.
