snow trouble at all

Riding in the snow isn't bad, as long as you think of it as entertainment rather than transportation. (You should also allow double your usual travel times, at least.)

At least you have a bike room, in my apartment all that snow would end up melting on the kitchen floor (though I do have cardboard down).

Yeah, I'm very grateful for my bike room, for sure, in this weather!

A guy in Victoria, BC, rode his motorcycle from his home to the farthest point east in North America (St. John's in Newfoundland)--in the dead of winter, encountering tremendous snow, sleet, ice and arctic temps--way too much adventure for my taste.

Motorcycles go much faster than bikes, and you don't get warm from exercise while riding them. I don't think I'd like that either. Plus, riding on motorcycles is scary!

As an avid bicyclist and motorcyclist , I will tell you that the technology in electric clothes makes riding a mc in the winter very enjoyable. One has to be careful not to over heat. It's only the icy roads that are a problem. So, be careful out there.
