This is my friend Andrew who works in the brewery and often provides me with free booze. Here he's clearing out the store of used grains, after they've been spent in the beer-making process. They get given to a grateful farmer for his animals.

This is a rubbish photo because it's blurry, but Tape (who is also called Andrew) was moving pretty quick and the lighting in that place is shocking. So, you know, it's an action shot.

This is the cold, dark room where ready brews are kept. There's about 15 tanks in total, around 5 of which have a different brew ready in them at any one time. There's nothing like pouring yourself a pint out of one of these vast tanks. The pressure makes it quite different to pouring a pint behind the bar, but I'm beginning to get the hang of it. Today's sampling was a lovely Nut Brown.
