When defeat comes, accept it as a signal that your plans are not
sound, rebuild those plans, and set sail once more toward your coveted
goal.

I had to pick this particular photo to stop by and visit because of its beauty and peacefullness. I sure would love to be sailing away on a sailboat like this. Beautiful quote to go with your lovely image Franny.
I hope all is well! I've been so busy and than had to catch a bad Summer cold from my hubby. It is always something it seems. Other than running and wearing myself out after an energetic puppy I'm doing okay though. Sending some hugs!

I agree with Connie about the photo. Some photos are not showing up right away as I don't know how I missed this one.
My late grandfather and dad did much sailing together . I never went on the sailboat but Mike did when we were visiting and my dad had him help in a race. Mike can't swim but he enjoyed it and they did not tip over. I sink when it comes to water but love sailboats and this is such a stunning capture !
Love the quote.
It reminds me of a program on public radio and talking about fear as it comes to writing or art or anything one loves to do. It was a writer talking and saying how if a writer has a best seller there is so much pressure to have another and another. He was saying the biggest thing keeping one from being creative is fear. Anyhow...it was really interesting and reminds me of this quote. sorry to babble like City boy.
