Lucy Neatby's Mermaid socks-- a great pattern for this yarn. (I've started a pair in a different colorway).
The striping of fun & stripes is nearly perfect- so little diamonds appear!

@Cashmere dreams: Where could I get a pattern for that sock then?

The pattern is in her book-- "Warm feet, Cool socks". The "pattern" was discovered by Nancy Bush and is printed in Folk socks- multiple of 6, *[K2, YO, K2, K2tog]*
Work a few rows of garter at the top, then a few rows alternating pattern with a purl row. After that, just repeat the pattern over and over again. LN's garter stitch heel looks great, too. *or* knit a bullseye heel as an afterthought!
